You are now connected to the website (“this site”) of NanoPass Technologies Ltd., 3 Golda Meir St., Nes Ziona, 7403648, Israel (“NanoPass”).

NanoPass maintains this site to enable public visitors (“visitors”) to access information about its products. This privacy policy applies to all visitors entering this site (“you”) and providing their details in the “Contact Us” form available on the site.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may be changed and/or amended from time to time. This privacy policy does not apply to external sites accessible from links offered on this site.

Collection, use and processing of personal data

“Contact us” Form

NanoPass only collects personal data relating to users that voluntarily decided to provide their details in the “Contact Us” form of the site and expressly gave their consent thereto. Personal data collected via the “Contact Us” form of the site by NanoPass are: full name, e-mail address, phone number, company and position.

The above personal data will be used by NanoPass for the purpose of addressing your questions submitted via the “Contact Us” form. NanoPass uses the personal data that visitors voluntarily supplied only for the above specific processing purposes and will in no way process or transfer them beyond the limits of this Privacy Policy.

In exceptional cases, should any further processing be required, NanoPass will only do so after having been given your explicit consent to process your data further.

IP addresses and Cookies

Depending on the circumstances, IP address data may be collected to allow conclusions to be drawn about users’ interaction with this site. However, NanoPass does not combine IP addresses with other information on the users and cannot relate IP addresses with the identity of the user. NanoPass solely use IP addresses as such and is not able to identify specific users by way of IP addresses.

We will not store your IP addresses.

Transfer of personal data to third parties and transfer of personal data to non-EU countries

Your personal data might be disclosed with NanoPass’s contractual partners, who have access to your data in order to provide services to NanoPass (e.g. its online domain/website hosting supplier, its database software supplier). NanoPass does not disclose or share any personal data about you collected on this site with other entities (except in some exceptional cases and only with your previous explicit consent), without prejudice to any statutory obligation to do so by law, official or court orders.

Your personal data would be transferred to the following non-EU countries: Israel, US.

In particular, by sending a message via our “Contact Us” form you provide your consent to the transfer of your personal data to: US, Israel. You should be aware that the transfer of your personal data to these countries can pose risks as the data protection laws of these countries are not considered by the European Commission to provide an equivalent level of protection as do the laws of the European Economic Area (EEA) and no specific safeguards are in place. However, NanoPass will take reasonable steps and have agreements in place to ensure that any personal data transferred to these countries are treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and to the extent permitted by law.

Confidentiality and security

NanoPass will store your data safely and, therefore, takes all precautionary measures to protect them against loss, abuse or changes. To try to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, NanoPass has implemented appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected on this site.

NanoPass’s employees or any of NanoPass’s contractual partners who have access to your data in order to provide services to NanoPass (e.g. its online domain/website hosting supplier, its database software supplier) are contractually obliged to keep such information in confidence and may not use these data for any other purpose than performing their contractual missions for NanoPass.

Your rights and ways to contact NanoPass

Your stored personal data will be deleted by NanoPass as soon as NanoPass no longer requires it for the purposes concerned. In any event, your personal data may be stored for up to a maximum period of 10 years.

Conforming to the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

To the extent required by applicable law, you have the right to: i) have access to your personal data; ii) the right to have inaccurate data corrected or removed, iii) the right to restrict NanoPass’s use of your personal data; and (iv) the right to receive your personal data in a usable electronic format and transmit it to a third party (right to “data portability”).

In particular, NanoPass is committed to working with you to obtain a fair resolution of any complaint or concerns about privacy.  If, however, you believe that NanoPass has not been able to assist with your complaint or concern, you have the right to make a complaint with the competent authority of the EU Member State where you reside or work or where you believe that your rights have been infringed.
